well, we need people to work for Interace. We need people who can do great web design for us and get paid lots of money. We pay you on how much work you do and not the hours, so we need fast and good web designers to work with us.if you are interested, email dart_and_lavitz@hotmail.com
Spoono 12-28-2001, 06:54 PM Heh...I guess I would be interested, however the fact that you can't spell money and are using Hotmail makes me change my mind. Let's get a little proffessional, please?
Eladesor 12-28-2001, 06:59 PM I think you mean "Professional'
Happens to the best of us ;)

fusioncom 12-28-2001, 09:38 PM Check the profile birthday is 1986. I have a feeling I know why he cant spell money! He/She is only 15...
delemtri 12-28-2001, 09:47 PM Oh yes, that CERTAINLY follows logically, doesn't it.
zhenjie 12-28-2001, 10:50 PM I'm 16 and I run a team of webdesigners in Australia. IN 1 month the number of projects has been doubling every 2 weeks, and price has doubled aswell.
So age doesn't mean you cant run a good business :D
How about showing some of YOUR 'professional' work daRt. And how good are you management and sales skills.
it is called a typo and everybody has them.somebody flooded my Interace account. Our site is, www.interace.net although it mentions nothing about our team.Just a great CGI page that could be sold for thousands.
So what if I am 15 years old?I am old enough to get a job, and so I did.I make tons of money by web design.I also now design Visual Basic and Flash games for people.
Also, why do we have tons of people emailing me then???It is your problem not to accept because we don't sound professional, but it is your loss and I will say nothing more about it.Too bad for you but good for the others who take this up.

Check www.interace.net/hitmaster.cgi to see! Also, I could show some of my templates, but they are all in html right now:)
Lazarus 12-29-2001, 05:23 AM I don't mid your age, and I would maybe consider the option if you had a portfolio and websites to show me...
I'm glad people emailed you though, good luck. I don't think you'll convince many clients without having anything to show them, so I'd suggest you start by making your company a website.
zhenjie 12-29-2001, 06:27 AM Relax. I wasn't having a go at you
It good to see you can do CGI and some 'advance' forms of webdevelopment. May I ask why you need a webdesigner?. Our group is always on the lookout for more work in between large projects.
Spoono 12-29-2001, 12:14 PM Heh...very intriguing. Whenever you do a web design offer for a firm or another company, do you have to have your mom sign the papers because you have to be 18? Meh, just playin' with ya =) Good luck with your 'professional' career and I hope your business does well.
Oh, and zhenjie, if you're looking for a web designer, you can see some of my work:
www.spoono.com
www.free-spot.com
I'm also opening a Design Services section soon.
cactus 12-29-2001, 02:24 PM Wow! spoono, You are a very talented person, I like your site and have bookmarked it. I am using SWISH the cheaper version of Flash. From your experience, do you think from your experience is it any good ?
Thanks.
I use Flash and Swish.Use Swish for banners.I only use Flash for whole websites or games :) We are gonna build a team as I said and we want web designers because we will now find customers and have you guys do the work and get paid.It takes a team to do all that.
zhenjie 12-29-2001, 06:36 PM I like your work Spoono. Unfortunately we are currently only looking for a sound artist, who has a unique style and can create a piece of music for Flash animations and websites. Hard to come by thesedays.
Sometimes we are busy, so email me zhen@anthradesign.com and leave me your email. we dont get high pay rates, we do this for fun most of the time.
Spoono 12-30-2001, 12:31 AM In my opinion, for a web designer, there are levels which you have to reach, the higher the level, the higher payed jobs you get. Personally, if you asked me, if a guy had just Swish skills, and one guy had just Flash skills, I'd definitely go with the Flash guy because its more mainstream and I can spot a Swish SWF a mile and a half away, not that its bad, but as more and more people use it, it gets less and less creative. You have a set of basic effects you can use, and thats basically about it. In Flash, you have way more potential and creativity to do as you please. Granted Flash is a lot harder, it's still worth it to get incredible at it. Pick your battles one at a time, and the harder the program is to learn, the higher the pay offs of learning it =)
exactly Spoono.kinda like the people that try to do their first VB project:bawling: i stuck with it though and now im good enough to make full fledged applications.

VB?!?!?!?
Easy stuff :stickout
Get yourself a copy of something OO :D
Later,

(currently playing with Delphi..)
i know VB is easy, but your first project is hard.they drop out and never touch it again.
VB is harder than Delphi dude.
Duchz 12-31-2001, 08:16 AM OOP is the way to go :D

i've heard people try and sell that idea to me borfore, this is how it goes:
VB make doing very simple things simple, and semi-complexed things *very* difficult. (that is why there are 4 million developers, and you can pick out 99% of VB apps just by looking at them!) In Delphi, the inital learning cure is a little steaper, and to do even complext things, much more complex than VB, it is allot easier. Delphi lets you go further without having to hack the IDE. Why would that be bad?!
Which leads onto .NET: VB is finished. VB.NET is a a cut down version of C#. VB.NET is more like Delphi than it is VB6! (If you don't know what I am talking about, look up Variant, Object, and TObject (the last for Delphi) and you should see my point..)
And just to add insult to injury, what language is VB, even VB6, programmed in?
Well its not VB, that's for sure.
And another thing: isn't this just a bit off topic?
hth,
Douglas
hey, im not dissin u.i love all the options Delphi has.way better than VB.

The art of refactoring was born with Smalltalk.
Synergy 01-01-2002, 12:58 AM What exactly is smalltalk?

ScottD 01-01-2002, 01:07 AM Smalltalk has no real practicle purpose in todays market, but if you know it then you know OO better than the majority of programmers out there.
No, I don't know it. I'm just droppin names; or something like that.
Scott
Happy New Year!

ok plz get back on topic.
vxstudios 02-01-2002, 06:27 PM In an effort to rid the www. of too much aestetically unpleasing web design perhaps some people might say that "developers" are not "designers" they happen to be very different courses, at least when I went to school.
