I'm looking for very cheap web hosting for a friend of mine, he doesn't need a load of space and its only a personal site but it should at the least be very reliable.

From domainwhitepages it looks like they are fasthosts resellers...

In other words - be careful...

They also talk about their new servers in a datacenter in NYC ( = Globix... )

IMHO - noone can offer Windows hosting for $2 dollars without being on such plan that donhost/fasthost/datapacket offer.

I don't really know anything about fasthosts either, can you shed some light for me?
Also how about valuablehost.com?

Fasthosts are well known for providing an 'unlimited bandwidth resellers account' which new hosts think "great we can offer everyone unlimited bandwidth" the bad news is that accounts get closed generally around the 10gb mark.

Yes, just search on fasthosts, donhost or datapacket in these forums and I think you will find 0 ( zero ) positive posters/reviews
