I'm looking at a server through the following companies within ThePlanet datacentre

- Layered Technologies
- Tomsyer
- SererMatrix

Currently, I have
- P4 2.4
- 2x 80GIG HDD
- 1GIG RAM
- 1000GIG Bandwidth
- 5x IP Addresses (usable)
- cPanel + Fantastico
- 100 Urchin profiles
- $0.00 Setup fee
- $100.00USD / monthly fee

with BestValueServers. I've pretty much been screwed around from the beginning with these people (who are a reseller of Server Matrix) and use the Layered Technologies network for the co-hosting of the servers they have in the datacentre.

Though I know Tomsyer is also using the layered technologies network and reselling servermatrix servers (exactly same deal with BestValueServers), he seems to providing some what a few more services then BestValueServers at the same price.

From your experience, which one of the above would you recommend I move my service to?

Tomsyer has been great.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for.

Layeredtech is great; but offers no management.
Tomsyer resells layeredtech and offers some sort of silly management.
SM is OK, having troubles ATM.

Tomsyer resells for LayeredTech.com, who has their own cage (and private suite I believe) in ThePlanet's datacenter, and uses their own hardware. They do not resell SM servers. BVS resells for both LT and SM. I've had a good experience with Tomsyer through LT so far.

Tomsyer has his servers at The Planet... where do you saw they were reselling LayeredTech???

EDITED: Thought that LT was located elsewhere... didnt know was The Planet also...
