What solutions is everyone using for adding search capabilities to web sites?

I need something that allows HTML content, PDF, and Word files within the site directory.

Any ideas?

I use this cgi script that is in included in cpanel.... All you do is copy the code that cpanel provides you with on the pages you want the search box to apear... great little thing..

I could. But Google's stuff is branded as Google. My clients also tend to want things that seem more integrated into their sites than Google's offering.
