I want it bootable because I want to install Linux at boot up. I want to be able to mount it to install rpm from cdrom to the server. jayglate 12-28-2001, 07:16 PM The bootable CANNOT be done. The rpm part. can. Do you still want directions? Fremont Servers 12-28-2001, 07:17 PM Originally posted by jayglate The bootable CANNOT be done. The rpm part. can. Do you still want directions? Yes. It is much simpler to install it from the network. It is also possible to install RedHat from the network, you only need to carry around a floppy disk instead of a CDROM drive :) mkaufman 12-29-2001, 11:17 AM Originally posted by priyadi Once installed and networking is up, you don't need to carry around an external CDROM just to install RPM.
