Hi Guys,

Any suggestions on which hosting providers will allow me to run a IRC client on a dedicated server I purchase ? Server will be used only for webhosting and e-mail.

Thanks.

There's also Staminus.net and BlackLotus.com. I wasn't really thinking when I first got in to the office today :)

Lets start with the fact that he said irc client not irc server. This opens him up to alot of places as many will actually allow clients and not servers. Its also amazing how many places where if you know there wont be a dos attack on it really wont say anything. Places like servermatrix that dont allow irc and I can list several upon serveral servers running at servermatrix.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any hosts that don't allow irc clients. Are you sure you don't want an IRC server?

I would be willing to bet that, unless otherwise noticed, most people asking about irc-allowed providers are referring to those located in the US.

I'm really curious as to why you would think this.

if you find a provider you like. email them and ask them if they allow irc. there are so many that do it would be hard to list them all

Anime files aren't exactly legal are they?

depends on the anime if its not licensed then its legal until the license it. much of the anime people only do legal copies.
