Hello,

We´ve installed cPanel on 4 Servers:

First Server:

Amd XP Athlon 3000+
SCSI HDD
1.5GB RAM (3x512MB cards)

Second, Third, Fourth:

Amd XP Athlon 3000+
Serial Ata HDD
2.0GB RAM (1x1024GB + 2x512MB cards)

All of them get screwed when I am setting up the cPanel for the first time and run the QuotaCheck, I click it and the server stay responding for 10 seconds or so and then just get freezed.

The Installation has Fedora Core 2, do you guys have any solution for the issue ? Any advices ?

Thank you very much, I appreciate the help.

Do you have quota in the kernel?

TheLinuxGuy, yes the kernel has quota

Brashar, I can´t open new ssh session, we have to do hard reboot all the time.

that's really weird, i never used fedora, but i doubt its something related to OS, but who knows try contacting cPanel support, could be a bug in their installer script or so

This seems to be a kernel bug with Fedora's kernel. I've seen it occur on every system that I've looked at. It's not related to cPanel either, as I've been able to replicate the issue with freshly installed and updated FC2 box. I was able to resolve this issue by building a new kerenel from source.
