Greetings!

I have posted this sometime ago. Anyhow, I need a digital camera to take pictures for future use in every design.

The budget is from $300-$500. Got suggestions? Where do you buy them? We want to buy from an international store or at least ships internationally. Do help.

Thanks.

:)

Canon C30 - Buy.com has it under $500 now with free shipping. Can't say anything bad about it except for the menu toggle.

Hi!
I'm a bit confused with the reason for you to buy the camera..
You can get good cameras from Amazon... Or go to the sites of the manufacturers directly. e.g. panasonic, canon, etc....
My panasonic camera's flash card is compatible with my casiopea so it's a real plus point.... Actually it is the only reason why I like my camera. :)

Have a great day :)

regards

I just recently bought a Canon A20. It's an awesome camera. It rated pretty highly and the picture quality is as good as high end Nikon cameras. I bought mine for about $400. I'm going to end up paying around $200 after rebates though :)

The C30 is a printer, if I'm not mistaken...

LOL - Yes, it sure is. I bought the S30 (typo that early!)

Ahhh, that one looks pretty cool. I have Canon S100 and S110 - both small, but seems similar. Yours seems to have that monster flash like mine. Good range so long as the person isn't more than 3-5 feet away :D

if your going to be using this camera for your design business you may want to seriously up the budget so you can get a higher res camera. I just bought an Olympus E20N since it's the best deal below the Nikon D1X and for the resolution and the quality output it provides along with it's decent price. Sure it means spending more but you'll be ahead of the curve producing higher quality a little longer :)

Yes, I had both S100 and S110 (gotta love the old best buy service plans  ). The S30 takes much better shots, although a tad bit bigger. But, had many more functions and the battery life is better (twice the size).

You can have the S100...

...and WeinBar, I like the S30, more for the video (320 resolution at 30+secs, beats 11 seconds), plus on-camera sound is nice as well. I can't buy anything else or the wife will kill me so I'll wait til she drops to $200 :D
