Thats cool ;) numer 12-27-2001, 10:27 AM Yeee Hopefully there will be no corruption and under the table money exchanges for good reviews from hosts. ASPCode.net 12-27-2001, 11:42 AM Maybe I am stupid but it took me a while to find them, however they are under the Buying Zone tab. AH-Tina 12-27-2001, 02:04 PM Yeah, and all of our reviews from the last year and a half are STILL GONE.  We worked very hard to build up our positive reviews there. Now they're gone and I don't trust HostSearch enough to start over. --Tina shpilkus 12-27-2001, 02:20 PM Tina: Ya gotta dig a little deeper - you'll be pleased to know they're still there: http://hostsearch.com/showcomment_old.asp?companycode=1734 If you go to http://hostsearch.com/showcomment.asp?Companycode=1734 you'll see the details on how they changed their review system, but there is a link to the old ones. HTH! AH-Tina 12-27-2001, 02:33 PM Yeah, the old reviews are there - but anyone searching for reviews on us will get the blank "no reviews" page. --Tina HRBrendan 12-27-2001, 02:47 PM Yeah that sucks :( -Brendan SoftWareRevue 12-27-2001, 02:53 PM Oh well . . . . . Just gotta start again. AH-Tina 12-27-2001, 03:02 PM Originally posted by SoftWareRevue Oh well . . . . . Just gotta start again. I don't think so. I don't trust them and I'm harboring deep rooted resentment that will go on forever. :bawling: --Tina SoftWareRevue 12-27-2001, 03:10 PM Originally posted by AffordableHost I don't think so. That'll give you some different perspectives on things. Or; aren't ya'll getting hit as hard over there? Martie 12-27-2001, 03:17 PM well Im glad to see them back, BUT, I do agree that the new setup is abit confusing...too bad they made that extra click to read past reviews, but.....whatever. My ex-girlfriend? Errr... nahhhh couldn't be... :D AH-Tina 12-27-2001, 06:29 PM Originally posted by Chicken Tina... Tina? Is that you? My ex-girlfriend? Errr... nahhhh couldn't be... :D Nah, I only hold grudges over important issues....like customer review sections that suddenly disappear! :D --Tina SoftWareRevue 12-29-2001, 08:48 PM Does anyone understand this new review thing? I've been fighting with other staff over what the Yes/No buttons on "Was this review trustable and helpful to you?" have to do with anything. Are they a reflection of the hosting company? Or a reflection of HostSearch? AH-Tina 12-29-2001, 09:36 PM I don't see how the new HostSearch system is any better than the previous one. Someone, with a grudge against a host, can still come in an give them a poor review. Unless I'm missing something, how is this any better or different??? --Tina |
