SoftWareRevue 12-26-2001, 07:19 PM Welcome to the forum michele. I did the first search for you. It's a pretty handy tool. ;) http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=198674&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending michele 12-26-2001, 07:26 PM Thanks!! The stuff I read are scary.... addaction 12-26-2001, 07:32 PM Yes, Michelle you have to be very careful choosing your host. Especially if you are serious about your website for your business and such. There are many resellers and "teenage" companies out there that don't make this business very reliable. Go with the big companies like Dell, Earthlink if you want to be sure. Chicken 12-26-2001, 08:04 PM Originally posted by addaction Go with the big companies like Dell ... if you want to be sure. Quick quiz... who is 'Dell' really (in terms of hosting)? 2Grumpy 12-26-2001, 08:17 PM Originally posted by addaction Yes, Michelle you have to be very careful choosing your host. Go with the big companies like Dell, Earthlink if you want to be sure. Yes bigger is always better! There is absolutely NOTHING to be gained by using a smaller company that has the audacity to even try and compete by giving things like personal service. That's why I only buy my clothes at the big chains and not at the place that knows me by name and has my measurements (when not ballooned by Xmas goodies) memorized and what sort of pants I like already laid out when I walk in. That's why I only eat at McDonalds and pass up the little Chinese restaurant that knows to have a Coke for me and a Sprite for my wife and an extra set of silverwear on the table so my son has something to play with laid out and ready along with a high chair before I even get through the door completely. Shame on those little guys for even trying. SoftWareRevue 12-26-2001, 08:20 PM Originally posted by Dixiesys . . . . . .
