Hello Everyone,

I am basically looking for a partner to help me run a new business I am starting. I have several websites already, one making me upwards of $3,000 per month, and others with perfect webmaster traffic with visitors as high as 3,000 per day. I am experience in the website business, and have had much success with it. However, every time I make a new site there always seems to be this margin that I can't break through, a margin that is preventing me from making it big. I just don't have enough time, or enough money, to make a HIGHLY profitable website.

Here are some details on the website that is current under development. It is a website builder plus hosting company. I spent a good deal of money creating this website builder script, and it has functions that will rival most other website builder companies. Including many pre-made design, an easy template installation method, (I have had design made for me for as little $10 a piece) full control over the website content, including custom pictures, sounds, flash etc. The builder is easy to use and contains full ecommerce tools so that users can create and sell their own products online through the builder. The program has a built in FTP publish system so that each user can publish their website to their account on my reseller server. I have a reseller account through surfspeedy.com that should provide us enough room for at least our first 120 members. The IP sections of the publish feature is locked so the user can only publish his/her website on my server, to prevent them from moving. The user will pay monthly due to the hosting, and will have access to the builder at all times. The user can edit their website at all times as well.

The website builder was made for me, however, I do not have FULL resell rights. This means in time the programmer could sell it to someone ells, but I am really not worried about that at this time, seeing as 3 of the top website builder companies use the same script, and the chances of someone ells making this thing popular are slim to none.

The website design is a templatemonster.com template. I know some people are against these, as they are not fully unique. However, the designs are only sold 5 times, making it highly improbably that any one person will ever see the same design twice, and highly impossible that one of our competitors would have the same design. I have used these many times with sucess.

The website is called Make Quick. (A good name in my opinion) and I was also able to register MakeQuick.com You ca preview the website at http://www.MakeQuick.com. The website features an almost completed design, as well as an almost fully functional website builder. There are a few things that still need to be done, as you will see. I am hoping to find a partner before the builder is complete, and it should be done in a few weeks at the most.

What am I looking for in a partner?

Someone that can devote time everyday to help answer support emails, setup new user's accounts, make daily backups of the website, and be whiling to put down some money. I have around $5,000 right now that I can devote to this website, which should give it a good start considering I have already spent a good deal creating it, and if a partner can put down an equal amount it makes sense that we could double the success. With double the success that is double the user base and double the monthly income witch means a LOT more money for expansion. Once this site gets going (due to the monthly fee) I believe it will be highly profitable. With a proven partner that is whiling to work as much as me on this website I see no reason not to split the income 50/50, however, you should keep in mind that I did spend the time and money to get this thing created in the first place :)

Another thing that I would hope for in a partner is that you already have a lot of experience in the hosting field. I would also hope that you have a website or two already that are making you good money, and a website or two that can help promote MakeQuick.com. As stated above I already have a few websites :www.voidix.com, www.thewebmasterforum.com. http://www.vbhacks.us, http://www.templatepanel.com, http://www.smartertemplates.com, http://www.templatevendor.com, http://www.discusshosts.com, and more that can help promote makequick.com big time! This is free advertising, and it would be great if a partner could contribute the same. ;)

I think this website has BIG potential, and right now I will try and prove it. First of all, lets look at our main competitors. All of these came in first on google:

http://www.moonfruit.com/
http://www.ibuilt.net/
http://www.x2cms.com/
http://www.webestore.com/
http://www.designer360.com

First in google adwords:

http://www.sitebuilder.serveryard.com/
http://www.networksolutions.com
http://www.xbuild.com/

If you look at these website you will see that a lot of them use the same script, and most of the scripts have the same or less features that MakeQuick.com, and some of them, don't even compare.

This site can be big, I know it can, I want someone to help me make it even better than I think it can be. If we advertise in the right places, people will join. Website builder are still very popular, and people use them frequently. Let introduce them to a face in the website builder industry! PM if you want more info or would like to talk. I am also on AIM a lot with screen name: SmarterTemplates. Talk to you soon :)

That sounds like a sure deal, given that you've had past success on websites and are devoted enough to put that much money towards it. I can see the huge potential in that too. I'd join in if I had the finances to help, but good luck on this, someone will join you. If you need someone in the future to do other help for you, keep me in mind :)

Just a note this is not a plea for money, but I do want a partner that is willing to spend money equally until the business starts to pay for itself. As I said above I already have money to fund this, but that doesn't mean you have to give me $5,000, (you don't give me anything) this is just how much I am willing to spend on this. That doesn't mean I am going spend it all in one day, or in one month.

I don't plan on being the boss here, and I don't want to tell anyone what to do. I want someone that is excited about this enough to work hard and think hard with my equally . Lets combine our knowledge and share our ideas to make this thing successful for both of us. I have made profitable websites in the past, and I can't wait to see what two experience minds can do when put together.

By the way, it doesn't look good going onto SmarterTemplates and the page title being the name of the template you used for the site :S (0005_red).

Tbh, investment requirements aside, I don't really see what you are wanting a partner for other than the money...could you explain that maybe a little? :)

Why do I want a partner? I already run and own 7 websites by myself and I am beginning to think that I simply have too much on my hands. I have made successful websites, but they have never become as good as I wish they could because I am always getting behind. This leads to angry customers and a lot of stress. I have money put aside for this project, so I am not just looking for financial aid. I want someone to bring to ideas to the table and help make this website the money maker I know it can be. I think that having a partner seems like a good idea. You are in it together, which makes things easier and more productive. If I don’t find the kind of partner I am looking for then that is not a problem. I will go about this website as I always have, but I really don’t think I can bring it to its full potential alone.

I have tried out the makequick, in the demo section, and tried to preview site, but so far have not been able to do so. Is it just because the demo is not complete?

I have a few ideas and a potentially good market for such a product, if it was targetted towards the audience in the right way, which might mean not having to out right compete with other similar products, at least not 100% directly anyway.

Yes I am changing and adding some things right now, so you might see some errors and layout problems.
