Hi I'm looking to get a dedicated server! But I dont know wich Data center is bater. So I was lookin on ThePlanet. But maby any one knows somthing bater.

I'll recommend ThePlanet. Good network, some people have complaints about the service though, it's been good for me.

Words of warning: Be sure you can manage your own server with any provider that you select.

Unless of course you just RackSpace. They will do literally all the management for you. But of course, with exceptional service, comes exceptional prices ;)

So shold I go with ThePlanet and plane with Unlimited Bandwidth?

ThePlanet doesn't provide unlimited bandwidth. ServerMatrix does (and runs it on its own network, so I can't vouch for it).

How much bandwidth do you really need?

I've had bad experiences with The Pkanet - ServerMatrix, very unresponsive, cocky bunch in serious need of customer relation lessons. I suggest you check http://voxrox.com, they have an unlimited bandwidth server offer with a 10Mbps line.

http://superbservers.net is where we have all of our servers and we are extremely happy with them, being able to chat directly with a live person who is knowledgable is always a huge advantage in an industry that demands instant information, waiting half a day is not good.

ThePlanet's uptime can't be beat.

I almost ever have to deal with a tech because of that - when I do, they're fast and responsive.

If you're looking to use a lot of transfer then Superb is the right choice.

Their pro server is a Dual XEON 3.06 with 2,000 GB per month for only $239 a month. I've got 6 of these things now, and a bunch of smaller servers... the network is great.

Downtime is non existent... I can't think of any downtime, that I didn't cause, and even then their support guys fixed me up right away...

If you're into selling servers they've got a good reseller program too..

yeah, I will also suggest superbservers.net. Good network, low latency and excellent peering. Affordable too

Posts like this die because it just turns into a promoting contest, which is something we want to avoid. It is hard to judge "who is the best" because dedicated service providers have specific niches as well.

It all depends on what you need. Most of the providers are good, now i use 3 providers, but can't say which one is the best. All the 3 is good for me. Price vary at time, if you are lucky, you can get special offers at WHT. I would recommend

Ev1Servers.net is popular provider. But i feel like they have lot of old servers because they start years back compared to new providers like dedicatednow and servermatrix. You will get Celeron 1.3 from Ev1 at the price of Cel 2.4 with 1 GB RAM from ServerMatrix.

The great SWR has said it many times, there is no best host, just what's best for you ;)

With that being said, i've always had a fantastic time with sagonet, staminus in the USA, and amenworld & rackcheck in europe.
