hey, i just got a reseller package from a friend, really cheap, (8 gb space, 150 bw for 8 bux a month) and im wondering, wha sort of prices should i charge people?

any ideas?

My best advise would be to ensure your prices are not based on the deal you have with your friend. He will be losing money offering you this, and may 'pull the plug' once you start using up your resources.

While you still have the opportunity, have a look around at other reseller deal prices, and base your own pricing structure on the possibility that one day you'll be using another provider at a more realistic price.

Just ask yourself why your friend has allowed you this amount of such a low cost?! It can't be the best server in the world for this price. Do you know much about the server itself? It sounds to me that you are just starting out seen as though you are asking abuot what prices you should be charging. Maybe think abuot researching first before you start offering hosting to people that way you can help them better. If you loose $8 then its not the end of the world. Take some time to find out about things and get everything running before you start thinknig too much about prices (although you must bare this in mind - prices i mean). In your research you will learn about what prices to offer.

with WHM ad cpanel, unlimited domains, 5 ips, unlimited email, mysql etc. etc.

Surf around in the offers section of WHT, you'll get a feel of what some low end pricing should be, you can decide your prices from there.

Yah, the server just gets better and better. Tomorrow it'll be a dual xeon 2.8ghz machine with 4gb ram. ;)

Well mabye its one of the magic servers? You know one of them servers that are really cheap and expand as you go along..... you never know!
