How can I get them ??

Ive seen small and low-cost sites having very good sponsors ! I think Ive done a good job with www.digital-mafia.co.uk but dont know how to go about getting a good sponsor !

What are your goals with this site? Also what type of account do you need sponsored... MB and GIG etc.

Well, initially I made the site for two reasons :-

1 ) To have knowledge and experience in the programming field ... be able to make large websites. Basically, to learn about advanced websites !

2 ) ( This is the main one ) To make a community for peopel to come to regularly and project their views ... be able to talk about problems ... and on the side, they get special features like SMS and E-cards ! I try to think of what people need and go abotu implementing it. I want a site which LISTENS to its members ! And this is what I have done so far.

After a bit of time, I realised how much money had been spent on the site ... so I need to some how bring it back so I can keep the site maintained ! That is why I need a sponsor now , otherwise I wouldnt have had them.

I didnt understand what you meant by MB and GIG ... If you mean sponsored by monthly transfer ... I dont want that ... just a simple sponsor who knows what I do and simply puts a banner on my site ... and I get something in return :) I dont like complexing things.

Would you like a host to host your site in return for advertising or are you looking for advertisers that pay you money?

well, itd be a nightmare moving hosts lol

Well I can see moving would be a pain :)

You should establish an advertising program. Find some software that can keep track of banner clicks etc. Setup a pricing scheme, and post the offer for advertising space here on WHT, other forums and your site :)

Or if parts (future additions?) of your website could be on other servers, ask a host to sponsor that account

I don't want to discourage you but I don't think there are easy ways to get sponsors :spiny:

I meant like, so theres no big setup process and stuff ... somethign me and a company can settle on easily.

I dont have much experience in sponsors so I woulnt know too much ! :(

A company that advertises wants to get what they pay for. So you need some kind of tracking of advertising etc.

How many unique hits to you have each day?

You won't get advertisers or even sponsored if you can not prove how many hits you get each day :laugh:
