Well, their main site is Alabanza based, but I'm not familiar enough with Alabanza to know if you can hack the cp any, or if that is even it in the first place. Been quite a bit since I used an Alabanza server :(

Alabanza provides dedicated servers with their iconic control panel. You can't view their hosting prices on the web, unless you email them at the address written at the bottom of their first page at : www.alabanza.com.

Cpanel also looks similar to Alabanza cp. And, you'll find less-expensive hosts with Cpanel.

AFAIK, the Alabanza CP/DSM is just not for sale outside their system. Although someday that may change, who knows. So if you like the control panel, you gotta buy a server to go with it. It isn't very hackable, just the look and feel. In other words, while we can't really hack away at the scripts for the various tools and functions, we can make nifty little icons for them.

CPanel is far more portable, but Alabanza's end-user and back-end CP are still the most complete solution (in our opinion, YMMV, no flames please.)

Alabanza is very good in my opinion. It is more expensive than the others but very stable. The other problem with them is that you cannot do much with the servers... No php recompiles, apache recompiles etc...
Everything is patched up for the control panel. Even mod_rewrite is patched up...:(
But the good this is that it is very stable and reliable.... They must be given credit for that... :)
