I'm looking for a Uk Based Webhost with a Simmalar Reseller Plan to Donhost's,
I've found a few, but have no Idea if they are reputable...

The Host must have:
Full Database Support, SSI & SSL Support, Reasnoble Bandwidth prices, Capability to Handle High server resource loads, & Most Important It has to be FAST!

Here is one I was looking at recently, It has no Reseller plan that I can see, but seams quite good value for money.

With domain purchasing i have always stood by http://www.123-reg.co.uk They are outstanding.

a .co.uk is about £6.79 i believe for 2 years.

As a UK webhost we looked around for a long time to find a registrar whom was good for us. Another well recommended registrar is ukreg.com however they are owned by fasthosts which are a dubious company.

OneandOne seem to be good from what i hear. They often have huge ads in the NET magazine so they seem to have the money for advertising which would suggest to me that they are a big company. though you can cast your own opinions on that.

I can't see oneandone making much money from the prices they charge (and there are hidden fees - you have to pay extra to get rid of the ads).

I also recommend 123reg - a good registraar.

Regarding UK based hosts, DSVR ( http://www.dsvr.co.uk ) are very good, and well recommended.

http://www.ultraspeed.co.uk , and http://www.netrg.co.uk also have good reviews.

I currently have an account woth oneandone, there servers are actually i germany I belive, but there still quite quick. They dont do reseller accounts, for that I would recommend MChost... (still fast in the uk)

I agree KDA are a great company, and Karl is a very nice guy - however their servers are US based, not UK based just fyi...

Oneandone are actually a German based company that has expanded into the UK market. Their prices in the magazines are really low, but what they don't tell you is that there are popup ads with the packages which you have to pay to get rid of.

As for registrars, for UK domains, go with either UKReg (Their domain service is excellent, but their hosting service isn't very well liked) or 123reg. For US domains, go with stargate or godaddy.

I'm assuming that the lower prices on the packages are the ones with the ads.
