I agree with you vibe solutions

But in what way is a reseller handicapped to service a virtual hosting customer?

If you use a control panel then you already lose much control of the server environment even if you are the admin - so a reseller , being able to use his/her copy of the WHM is as much in control of setting accounts, limits, DNS and almost everything

Secondly most of the support requests have to do with things like CGI, SSI, emails, how to FTP and stuff which are not really web hosting issues only web programming issues

Granted I cant do a kernel upgrade or install chilisoft asp but then who wants to do it anyway? And if my clients get what I promise them and if I ensure that all support issues are resolved at acceptable service levels then I dont think it's a matter for the end customer

Thanks
Balaji

my intention was not to point at yur business rather to know whom you resell for, since I know a chain is as strong as its weakest link. There is all good about MCHOST on the board and your configuration were exactly what other MCHOST reellers offer so i took it that way. I know for while about their excellent support levels so would have been much confident to host with you.

I understand you are very enthusiastic Host and i wish all the very best to you. Merry Xmas and lots of good wishes :)
