How important is a logo to the overall success of a venture? The marketing experts at CNN, Cisco and Intel among others know the exact answer. A well-designed logo depicts the very existence of a company, its strength, services and products offered. The aim is to create a lasting impression on a customer's mind. As your company's first impression, it can be a deciding factor for many potential customers.

Too many small businesses either underestimate the importance of an effective trademark, or simply think that professional design services are far too expensive. I'm working to change that with professional, custom and yet affordable logo design plans.

Whether you are looking for a unique image to represent your company or you just need to modify your current logo, I can visualize a professional logo design to capture the essence of your business, leaving an impact for both print and web display.

Please contact me at www.ashben.net/interact.php to request for quote (RFQ) for a professional logo design. You can also review my web site at www.ashben.net and my online logo gallery at www.ashben.net/logodesign.htm.

Moreover, as part of this festive season, I'll be offering 25% discount on all logo design plans.

Just a thought... but why do people just buy a logo, don't you usually get the site designed with the logo, since the logo has to suit the site design? Or what do others do when you've got your logo designed??

You could do the logo first, then the design. Or vice versa. Just build one around the other.

I really like some of his simpler logos. I'd like to learn how to whip out work like that.

Thanks for your appreciation.

A logo can actually tell the past, present and the future of an organization. Some companies prefer complete identity redesigns while others have the logo designed first and then they get the web site(s) developed. It's more a matter of choice and brand management. Unfortunately, a lot of business (specially the smaller & medium scale ones) underestimate the importance of a logo. In today's competitive scenario, all corporations must focus on identity projection. It goes a long way.

Just a quick note for the interested, you may also review my client testimonials (http://www.ashben.net/portfolio.htm#testim) section.

Because some people can do some things and can't do other things. For example, I do not need someone to design sites but as I do not want to do the graphics myself, I would like a pro do that for me.

Also, your logo is a small part of the web site and there is very little of it that has to match with your site. Your site has to be designed around your logo and not the other way around. Your logo is your identity - it is not just for your site, it has to go with everthying ie. business cars, notepads, print ads, etc., If you have good logo you can use it anywhere and you can change your site design anytime.

Gurudev, I have to disagree here. You cannot change your site design anytime. Your site design is often your identity, since most clients usually (for the hosting industry) use it as their way to subscribe to your services, get contact info, etc... So they're gonna see much more of the website than the logo. Maybe they might get 1 confirmation letter through the mail with a nice logo, but otherwise they'll be more impressed by a good site than a good logo.
I'm not denying the need for good logos, it's definitly very important, but they should be made after the site was designed.

The logo AND website is your identity, it's how you look to your customers/visitors. But the logo is the ultimate identity I guess, as it is seen by everyone no everything, espeically when you tell people your company name, it's usually the logo that people remember.

The discussion comes back to .. who came first: the chicken or the egg.

I design corporate web sites as well as professional logos. But I have realized that a logo is the core of your corporate identity — it's the symbol that allows customers to easily recognize and define a company. With a logo, a company can brand business cards, letterhead, clothing, web sites, brochures, etc.

Altogether, I feel that the impact and scope of a logo is comparitively more than a web site. Having said that, both are inevitable.
