i'm still using apache 1.3.31 on my production server and i'd like to know if you recommend upgrading to 2.0.50

is it consuming less resources, handling somethings better, having less security issues?

anyone upgraded and regreted? why?

thanks in advance

I believe it handles URLs differently, which is what a lot of people don't like. (Something about spaces.. I don't really remember since I haven't read up on it in a while.)

I have decided not to upgrade since there is no real benefit for me yet, I agree that there would be a speed increase but apache 2 simply has not been tested enough for production servers. I believe that it is why most other people are not upgrading also.

If there was a feature that I would benefit from (such as the perchild mpm) then i would probably upgrade.
