When I first started using Managed.com a few months ago their service was excellent. I had a few issues with kernel panics with my FreeBSD setup but changed the setup slightly and did not require any further server reboots.

Now I'm finding that managed.com's service really is not up to scratch. Has anyone had any problems with companies such as Layered Technologies. Mails to them either don't get any replies, or when you do get replies it's always like a day later, etc.

Do any people here have suggestions regarding companies such as Layered Technologies, which a few people have suggested I change over to seeing that manged.com service is really bad. Does anyone have any experience with Layered Technologies or have any suggestions on where to get a server from?

I have two boxes from angel networkz, one in texas, and on in managed.com, and so far I am impressed with the service. Only needed a reboot once and that was done promptly. I also don't have them manage the server as I am capable of doing that myself.

I manage the servers myself, but when mailing them they take forever and a day to respond to the emails sent to them, which is problematic as when you have a issue with them you require it to be resolved promptly. Anyways I'm soon going to be an exclient of theirs seeing that they are incompetant.
