I don't know if you know this already or if this has been posted here before but there is a new vulnerability in all versions of Windows.

I'd also like to know what Microsoft created a "critical notification program" for if the thing never seems to update... or should I say the can't bother to update the "windows update" section of their site so that the critical notification program can operate properly.

Who should read this bulletin: Customers using Microsoft® Windows® ME or XP, or who have installed the Windows XP Internet Connection Sharing client on Windows 98 or 98SE.

oh sorry, I read this part:

Microsoft strongly urges all Windows XP customers to apply the patch immediately. Customers using Windows 98, 98SE or ME should apply the patch if the Universal Plug and Play service is installed and running.
