Good Day,
I have been looking at some of the bandwidth providers that do co-location and/or reselling and I am wondering if Level(3) and/or Qwest bandwidth is any good.
Thank You in advance for any infomartion on these companys.

Qwest (http://www.qwest.com) is part of KPN which is a national telco here in the Netherlands. I've heard that their services are quite good if you co-locate with one of their subdivisions like XS4ALL (http://www.xs4all.nl), but that is quite expensive.
Level(3) seems also quite good, but their are overselling their products (so I've heard). That's prolly the reason why they were/are almost bankrupt.

hehe :) overselling doesnt create a decrease in revenue, it increses revenue :) because your allocating more income to less expense :)
Qwest is a large ISP, they have a decent backbone, but their customer service and personel have much to be improved on.
Level3's network is also good, their customer support is good, but they have had a couple of routing issues as of late. They seem to have these ironed out now.

I can tell you we do not, nor will we ever use Qwest bandwidth! Their sales staff needs to grow up and get with the program. Also, according to the FCC outage list (which all telcom companies must report to) I think Qwest is either 1st or 2nd for the most downtime.
Level3 is not bad, but I think they have a few finance problems (who doesn't).

Qwest Sales is not that bad to deal with when you find the right person the trouble is it may take weeks to find that person :(
There network has improved quite a bit and you can get some good SLA,s from them.
Level 3 I think is one of the better providers out there, yes they have had some money troubles, like they said who hasent but they look to be on the way back up buying there self out of debt.
