What is your feedback on theplanet.com. Are the related to server matrix?

We have been using The Planet for a few months now for our game servers, we have the same package you have. I havent had any problems with them, usually takes them 1 - 2 hours to respond to support requests. Reboot requests are immediate, their network is excellent, the P2800 has Hyper Threading but you need to request that they enable it in the BIOS as your server will most likely come with it turned off. Staff seems fairly technical. If you have anything specific you want to know, I will respond.

Servermatrix is the entry level division of The Planet and generally offers lower end servers.

Would you guys recommend the planet?

ThePlanet does not need recommendation; they are recommendation in itself. You will be more than happy if you sign (already signed) for the above server. It is the perfect match for database-intensive forums. Yet, there are things you have to do first with your new server, and most of them are listed here: www.hostinglife.com. I'm getting this server for one of my ecommerce. What do you guys think iff I install mail server software along with My SQL on this server? Will that be too much. Probably MYSQL also.

The Planet's Servers are all Fully Managed. ServerMatrix offers a Management Solution, however in order for it to be Fully Managed - there is an additional price. I would highly recommend both.

What does Fully Managed includes? I'm new to dedicated server.

I am looking at that package also, but for gaming. I possibly am going with the $250 one, with the 2gb of ram. The cheapest i have found is TP actually.
