Hi everybody!

I'm planning to resell in future and I searched for some resellerhosts, and one wich got my attention was 99centhost.
Their reseller plan (http://www.99centhost.com/resellers.htm) really looks good, well it states unlimited bandwitdh, I talked to the support and they said I can go up to 100 GB. Of course I don't think I can, but I don't need that much anyway...
The service agreement (http://www.99centhost.com/service.htm) seems to be ok too.
I tested their speed with HostPulse (http://www.hostpulse.com/app/cgi-bin/ping.cgi) and they got pings between 30 and 40 ms and was always under the Top5.
The support is fast as hell too.

I think the only point to think about would be the "unlimited" bandwidth, but since it isn't that important for my and they promised via mal 100 GB, it shoudn't be a great prob.

What do you thing?
Greg

Greg Unlimited bandwidth is not a good thing.
They can't deliver it. So, if they advertise something that can't deliver; why would you believe anything else they say?

I already did the search: Theard number 1 says notehing to me, kinda pointless I think.
Theard number 2 may have some points against, but they seem fixed now... (and this post dates 6 mounths ago)

They can't deliver it. So, if they advertise something that can't deliver; why would you believe anything else they say?
They don't really promise something they can't offer, because they restrict it in the service agreement, however things like 99.9% uptime or 30 days money back are written, so they MUST deliver it, else they get problems with lawyers ;)

But thank you for your opinions, anybody else? ;)

Oh yeah, unlimited bandwidth for $3/month and $1.75/month

And you are still looking for a good?

Even if they promise 20 GB, is just IMPOSSIBLE to do it with that price range.

I'm getting the impression you guys are right :)

But Jedito, it's not 3$/mounth, but min. 5 x 3$/mounth (a minimum of 5 domains for the value account).

No offense. But you seem a little to defensive of someone that offers something on their front page and then clarifies it as something different deep in their TOS.

I don't want to defensive anybody here, just get some opinions from other people. Now I have seen that my opinion was probably wrong, so thank you!

Things get a little warm when anyone mentions unlimited bandwidth around here. :D

I mean, I know that unlimited bandwidth doesn't exists, but I had the impression that this host was honest enough to admit that he can't offer what he's promiseing (I know, it sounds damn stupid ;)).

So we're fine now, I think :)

BTW: Sorry for my english, still learning.

Ok, so you think that they can offer 100 GB for $15/month?

Sorry for my bad english :(
