Sorry to have to post another topic, my last one has been closed. Anyway, I've learned some valuable information in terms of how fast my connection would have to be in order to host 2 sites (my own sites) using 300GB of bandwidth a month. Originally I was going to have two 384Kbs dsl lines run into my house to host my sites on a computer I have sitting here, but the lines won't support all the data my site is transfering (max on MRTG was 1.9M in and 1M out -- i failed to mention this before), and now that I look at the numbers I realize how stupid I was to think 2 dsl connections would support it *bangs head on wall*. This leads me to my question of...Are there any other means of connecting this server to the net (without making me broke) that will allow for 300GB of bandwidth or more?
Thanks for your time!

http://www.econtinents.netI would do a search of the forum for econtinents or efreeservers as they have had a lot of network issues a couple of months ago.

Really? Lately?
They had trouble for several days a couple of months ago when they were installing BGP. But that's long in the past.
Trying to shamelessly bolster the old bottom line there rackmy?
Maybe you should make that same search yourself.

Not trying to be "smart", friend. I was just trying to figure out how you determined that EFS/Econtinents had had "a lot of network issues lately". So when I did that little search, the last person I found cautioning people about it was you. Saying the exact same thing almost 3 months ago.
Nevermind. I suppose it all depends on what your definition of "lately" is. And if that definition changes when you're talking about a competitor.:pimp:

Howzabouts we just re-word that to say, "...they have had a lot of network issues a couple of months ago".
