Hi everyone, I have just finished (well version 1 anyway) writing a software package to allow our own customers to sign up, open a new account and pay for it automatically, with no work required by our staff.

It offers a choice of 3 account types and 7, 6 & 2 plans (these can be changed) and charges accordingly for the duration they choose. They can pay 3 different ways all at sign up.
They can change almost all of their signup info, change plans, add parked domains and provides for resellers to add accounts under them.

Access to their webmail, control panels, online manual and other features is determined by the account type chosen (their admin screen displays icons for that specific account type only). Try changing account type as a user to see it in action.

Admin features view users details & delete, view and input a transaction to a user, send a statement and set up the user interface.

as with any software, there is more to come but if you are interested in automating your hosting signup and accounting go have a look.
we have 2 demo sites to try out, 1 you can't change the accounting setup and 1 you can.

test1 (http://www.kcbushtreks.co.nz/accounts/) for a limited time version 1.0

test2 (http://www.doitagain.co.nz/test/accounts/) permanent - any mods will be seen here

any suggestions appreciated :)

Hi,
your app looks great and it worked very fast.
Who are your target customers for this app? Those who have dedicated servers. I guess I am asking to see if it will work for those who are resellers and have to use WHM.

Along these lines I was wondering if anyone would care to share what backend accounting applications they are using?

I am currently using QB Pro version 6.0 and it doesnt work too good for a web hosting business. My accountant uses it so i ahve stayed with it for now but as i grow it is going to get unhandy very fast.

You are doing a nice job!
Happy holidays to you!

We provide accounts to resellers and the general public so it can be used by any hosting provider.

I have tried to make it simple to use, I'm glad to hear it is :)

any download sites? I want to begin coding a support ticket system based on a payment/administration system. Are you offering it for free (I got that vibe from the post).

I would like to help you on this project if you're making it free, or if you would be willing to give me a free copy :)

/me is a GNU/GPL kinda guy ;)

sorry it's not free (but it's not expensive either), it took a few months to get it up to scratch.

a support ticket system is almost complete and ready to be integrated into it along with a notes feature for the client.

I hope to cover every aspect of the clients needs & and make it fully automated so admin input is minimal within the next 6 months.

the urls above have changed, here are the new ones
