Really? Wow. I've been up there a couple of times. Ontario to be exact. Wen to see the falls from both sides of the border. Stayed awhile went sight seeing and stuff. Beautiful country.

Largely off-topic, but I'm about to leave for a trip to Lake Louise. My flight leaves in three hours. I've never been there before (been to eastern Canada around Montreal, Toronto and to Vancouver, but never anywhere in-between).

PS Kay, if you're reading this, I seriously hope you're just doing this as a PR stunt. Aside from thinking people our age are still a bit young for marriage the whole thing just isn't a very good idea. Some would even say that it makes a mockery of the institution of marriage, and I would tend to agree with them. Some things in life are simply best not bought.

Marriage is one of the most important decisions and moves in one's life. (Or it is supposed to be) Marriage should be for love, not for looks and money. The bidders ( I bet most are bogus ) are judging completely on looks, they don't know a thing about this lady. Its making a mockery of an importart part of life, marriage.

I have to disagree with you there. I think it says a great deal about a person, that they would auction themselves off in this manner. What it says isn't necessarily good -- to you, or to me -- but to each their own, I guess.

Also keep in mind that this could just be a publicity stunt. What better way to announce to the world "I'm single and looking for a spouse" than to hold an auction, knowing that the odds of someone eligible bidding are almost nil?

Someone that can afford to bid that much on her... she marries, waits a bit, then divorces and takes half. :D Jeese, I should auction myself off too!
