Somewhat yea, I've used it. I think the banking system is still living in the realm of "We control you" so the control you expect, is limited.

The accounting features seemed to be intelligent, but honestly, I found it enough of a pain the *** that I didn't really focus on it well enough to find bugs etc

Thanks thats what i figured, the SMALL amount that I've used it - it drove me crazy too. but that was an older version....

I think I'll probably skip it.

I'm not one for buying anything until I've tried it, understand it and need it....... therefore using what I have is what I want....

And this doing things by hand - is getting old too awfully quick!

Yep, but there is an option, contact an accountant. They are really affordable, and to be honest, can save your butt =)

Plus, they might have the information you need, to know how to not go nuts trying to organize it all. Accountants are just like you and me, just trying to make some money and know their stuff etc. Good luck

Especially if you use a popular accounting program, you can just give your file to the accountant once or month or whatever for them to do what they have to do, but you don't want your accountant to be doing everything -- that is, you don't want to pay an accountant to balance your checkbook!

Right, but the point was that an account will recommend the program, and format in which they would like that file. That would help the OP decide on a solution.

By the way, they may have improved it since I last saw it but it used to be that Money only did single-entry cash-based accounting. If that's still true, it'd only be usable if that's the approach you're taking.

True, my wife lol, could use some sort of money program, I might buy it for her to check out because from the look of it, it had the best GUI as far as I was concern, which is why I bought the 2003 version.
