View Full Version : Best Reseller Package

So... Everyone always asks, who is the best company to go with for reselling, and everyone quotes details of support and uptime etc. And although these are very important matters, Who feels like a change?

Now, instead of looking at the company themselves, who do you think offers the best package(s) regarding features, quantity and price. (And no one mention it's quality not quantity - i'm guessing people who post should combine these two!)

In other words, Who do you think offers the best reseller package?

This topic should shave sometime off for the newbies.

So you want us to look at only features and price because I don't think I can do that. I always like to look at a company from multiple views.

Things I look at:

1. Pricing
2. Supplier
3. Rates of Supplier
4. Current rates for staff both outsourced and internal
5. Helpfullness of staff
6. Tolerance level of staff
7. What they offer?
8. Anything special they offer
9. What they say about themselves (mission statement)
10. Past client experiences
11. Are they affiliated with other brands.?
12. Speed of their equipment.
13. Terms of service ( yes that's right the thing noone ever looks at and then complains when they break it.)
* and most importantly common sense

Also monica from hostgator was helpful and polite.

i've really been impressed with hostnexus, now resellernexus, in how they present their reseller services.

pixel_fenix, you just listed a whole lot of company features (points 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11 &13 were all about the company itself).

Ok, let me make myself clear. I mean't quantity and features for the price.

And yes you are correct about the quality issues but I did say to not look at that. Although if anyone looking for a host is looking at this... do actually find a package that is right for you and then MAKE SURE you check the stuff pixel_fenix pointed out above when you know what is on offer.

I think S/He is looking at cost effective packages.

Well look at following:

turnkeyreseller: $12.95/Mo for 15GB / 150 GB
Ddihosting: they are running 40% off, that is cheap
BGFweb
hometownhosting
Newista

There is something posted by Dr Green as well in offer section, that is cost effective.

one very nice feature I notice and probably is unique on the web
is offered by site5.com: Accumulative Bandwidth => lets you keep unused bandwidth for following months

you know any other host that offers this?

Wow, Matrix has alot of servers, 80ish? How is their support? This is the most important thing, I have been spoiled by httpme.com support which is second to none.

Thanks,

you know any other host that offers this? Hi All,

Great discussion going on here. I just wanted to clear one thing up: our reseller accounts don't come with accumulative bandwidth, as they are already given very generous bandwidth allotments.

Best of luck to you all with your decisions!

Matt

Who thinks that £40 (about $75/month) is a rip off for 3GB space & 20GB bandwidth on UK based hosting? ... for specs etc.. see 38h.com's website as i'm talking about them oh and it's windows hosting. They do have really good support, really i'm surprised they're not better well know.

UK bandwidth is more expensive so if their servers are in a UK data center, you can expect their prices to be higher.
