hi

i'm wondered if somebody can tell me how to make acounds just as a resellers but is not for a comercial purpose.

i want give some host to a friends and visitors of my website but i don't know how to use this panel (webmin)

so if someone can tel me how can i do to make disk quotes add domains to this hosts and gibve to each user a mysql databa se whit his pass and user, and give him the opcion to have mail whit his domain.


i know that i want alot but plis help me

you might have to install usermin. webmin is for admins usermin is for clients.

Actually, what I think would make it easier for him would be 'virtualmin', not usemin (which I believe is part of webmin anyway?). Virtualmin makes setting up virtual hosting pretty simple.

i use virtualmin to create the virtual host.

but in the page of the virtualmin module says this: Quotas are not enabled on the filesystem /home which contains the home directory base /home. Quotas editing has been disabled.

and in the module of disk quoutes says: No local filesystems can support quotas.

so how can active the quotas fot the home directory ?

abd i saw that quaotas are for blocks and no for Mb

how many Mbare in a block or what is a block ? lol

For resellers, I simply give an extremely limited account on Webmin. Then, the next part is to simply trust the reseller on not gaining permissions to where he does not belong. In general, Webmin does not support Resellers. It was built for inhouse administration. It's simply a full admin account and a user management account. That's it.
