Well, we’ve finally come to a point where we need a second server.
We’ve been experiencing issues with Ensim, and were interested in looking into a cPanel server.
I’m curious to know what some of your thoughts are on offering more than 1 type of control panel.

I think some of the pro’s include that you may attract some more users who prefer a certain CP over another. It gives new users a choice to select a cp they are more comfortable with as well.

Some con’s may be the hassle of operating two different systems, confusion for existing clients who open a new site and are placed on the other cp which they are not comfortable with.

I’m sure many of you have experienced this same dilemma and would appreciate any feedback you can provide.

I think that would be a great idea, all too often we receive requests for Plesk or Ensim that we just cannot fill. You should definently broaden your customer base this way.

Thanks for the input. That's what I was thinking, it would help attract a wider range of customers.

I'm just worried about confusing clients, and describing features & options on the site. Different features for different cp's, so it could be difficult setting that up.

i agree it could be confusing to the customers. It would give you the potential of bringing in new customers that you would not have gotten before due to not offering the control panel that they are looking for.
