Hello,
I currently hold servers at Burst.net, thought I do not really enjoy.
Thought they are great but ddos just destroys it all.

So I checked some companys and saw InterServer.net, they have very nice sales guy (Mike) who is very nice and kind.

So before I buy, I would like to ask for current customers opinions.

(Yes I used the search tool, I want current opinions).

Btw,
If you have a good DC to offer me don't hesitate to post it here.

Thank you all,
Gil.

A search for interserver returns several threads regarding downtime. They are all from a while ago so maybe they've cleaned up their act.

Do a search; you be the judge.

The network is multihome now, so that should take care of it all.

As of this morning there's downtime again. They did respond to my ticket about an hour ago that they are working on it and to give them some time. But no explanation currently of what is causing the problems.

Their people are really nice - but I've definately had more inconsistent outages than with some previous hosts - but in the big picture it's been good. (until right now- which is approaching critical unfortunately)

Ha - literally no sooner did I post this response than the email finally began flowing again. Go figure.

That kinda proves my point - in this business - you just CAN'T expect a host to never have problems. It just isn't going to happen. But the people at Interserver have always been exceptional and I have never felt that they spew BS.

OK spoke too soon - (but again - the resolution of this morning's difficulties I'm sure will take more than a few minutes to fix - at least this time I got in 5 email messages instead of 1 - since it's been down for about two hours during work week business hours - unfortunately it's going to be quite a backlog to clear)

I have had boxes at interserver for 6 months, the network has improved greatly. I started out getting pings of about 57ms, which is not bad from south Texas, as of today, those pings are now down to around 34ms.
