i got a server from server matrix

every thimg with is so cool , 8 hours then i got the information of my server ...



every thing in begining is ok ..
But

++ after i do one of these :
1 ) move an acount from other sever to mine via whm
2 ) update apache with last secure update

i do not know what is the reson of this problem ..


++ what is my problem ?
1 ) ftp is ok in server state but does'nt in fact .
2 ) all account got
[ The page cannot be found ] 404 error exept one :S


++ That's all ...

what i do to try to slove this problem ..

1 ) reboot a server becouse the update ...
2 ) type this command : /scripts/enablefileprotect . becouse of moving account thing ...

Still doesnot Work ...

I suppose you setup your entire CPanel configuration correct and your RDNS. Then changed all your NS information on your domains to point to the right place. Moving accounts to a server unless done by hand should not cause any problems at all.

Sorry but i could not understand what you are trying to say.

Are you trying to say that you have transferred an account from one server to another through WHM and for some reason you can not upload files to your new server.

Can you please specify a bit more clearly your objectives and problems.

I cold not understand you problem too..

have you tried true root@ssh "/scripts/fixeverything" ?

Most likely this is your problem:
2 ) update apache with last secure update
There is one simple way to test this. Create a new account in WHM and see if you can view the content of that website (try a couple of standard file types html and php). If you cannot see it, your apache setup is hosed.

The account transfer function in WHM is pretty reliable. If it failed, it should give you the warnings. Otherwise that is not the cause of your problem.

one of them i transfer it from other server via whm ..

when i try to browse this account or other
i get The [ page cannot be found ]

i create new account and i get same message [ page cannot be found ]

tekprio , i can see the content by ssh but not else
ftp down !!
and i can not see it by browser ....

Have you tried the command true SSH that I gave you?

/scripts/fixeverything

Also try
/scripts/upcp --force

than if still no good try this..
/scripts/easyapache
(Options 2,3,4,5) a normal sites will only need 3,4 but you can choise any of thoses if apache does not start (our if the compelation "instalation" gives a error you are going to have to due again but it another option)

he's probably getting page cannot be found errors because dns is broken. Chances are the name servers were not updated ;)

That's why I told him to use theses commands :)

/scripts/fixeverything
Also try
/scripts/upcp --force


You cold also try (try executing these script twice, I know for a fact that fixndc has to be runned twice :) sometimes)

/scripts/ulimitnamed
/scripts/fixndc

If you moved the accounts to your new server did you also change the DNS records at your domain regstrar to point to your new server IPs?

Yeah. It is possible the problem is due to broken DNS or simply due to records not fully propagated. In that case, you could try:

http://your-server-IP/~username

And see if it gives any error. The exact and complete error message would be helpful.

First of all : i do not use dns until now , this problem happen with ip/~username/

i try with /scripts/fixeverything
resulte nothing ......
