Call your phone company(s) and ask, and talk them down if you can ;)

Try AT&T, the 800 will just ring into your normal phone number. They charge something like $5 per month for up to 10 800 numbers and their rates start at .6 cents a minute

aleavens, Bell Canada has very good rates for toll-free services... Give 'em a call or browse around their site.

I know about BellCanada, that is why I am looking for another 800 carrier. Thank you for the tip though

Hey, we're paying 6.5 cents a minute with AT&T. :(

All of you should switch to powernetglobal (.com) I think it is 4.5c/min. and I must say that I just like them all around.

Sprint Canada also offers toll-free services...around 7 cents per minute, I think. http://www.toolkit.ca/products/?section=telecom

PNG unfortunately doesn't service Canada with toll-free numbers :(

That's okay... 7 cents Canadian is the same as 4.5 cents US. So it's the same rate (if Sprint Canada is 7c/min). :)

I was not being sarcastic, Rehan. But anyone who lives in Canada knows that you can go with your local phone provider. be it Bell Canada, or Sask Tel, or BC Tel or any of the other Canadian providers. However I was looking for an alternitive. I looked into Sprint, but for thier 800 number you need to have them as your long disprovider as well, and that is not acceptable. I am looking for a straight 800 provider that I can use in Canada.
