I'm thinking of starting a reselller plan. Something around 5GB of space and 50GB of bandwidth. I'll make no excuses - I oversell on my regular plans, although not severely. Would I be correct in assuming that most reseller plans sold will be used almost completely? (IE, all bandwidth and space) Do you think I should allow unlimited domains, or limit it? How much do you think I should charge for such a plan?
Thanks

We offer 1gb/30gb "reseller" plans - charging $16/month ($125/yr) and don't see a whole lot of it being used. With unlimited domains as well. 1 or 2 of our clients have thrown on a ton of sites - though 99% of which are either extremely low usage or no usage at all. (for the time being anyway...)
I'll say this - in future we may put a limit on the number of domains resellers can use. Though we don't actually cater to resellers as much as it is for web developers. We find many people who want to resell space look for larger plans, and thus, do not choose us.
Keep in mind we're a budget host - so depending on your price trend, you may wish to charge more per resource for a plan of your size.

If I were you, I would research all of the top reliable reseller hosts and look at their plans. Find a happy medium within the prices you've found that you can live with. :)

Your prices should be based on what you are paying for your server and how much profit you want (or think you can make) per account.
