Hi. Dedicated/semi dedicated clients for sale.
These is a re-offer of a sale we began over a month ago at WHT and put on hold due to a sudden death here. Apologies to anyone who bid before!

I have 5 dedicated server clients and 1 “semi-dedicated” server (2 clients with busy forums on a small box - could go on another high end shared server if you wanted and they agree).

I would like to move them on to a new host, and I am looking for offers. I am not selling our business, simply these clients and their servers. We are moving them on so we can streamline our own accounting and support around our core services.

You really can't go wrong taking on these clients. These are good clients, all have been with us at least 6 months or longer. They simply no longer fit into our service and billing structure. All pay on time, and support needs are low, averaging less than 1 ticket per month each for the ded clients and about 2 or 3 for the semi-ded. They all have access to the datacenter for their own reboots (except the semi-ded).

In fact the only time we ever had to really provide any kind of urgent support to these clients was when the semi-ded barfed after a buggy cpanel update. Cpanel resolved it. There's a few extra tickets lately from one client as a result.

5 are paying via PayPal subscription. 1 pays a monthly invoice via credit card.

The servers are located at ServerMatrix. We are a certified SM reseller. Any one purchasing these clients will automatically qualify for all SM reseller discounts and offers.

Clients pay SM retail prices for their servers or slightly higher. Profit on these 6 clients is $114 per month (after server costs) + occasional services like installing software etc.

My monthly average profit including additional billable services has been about $150 month. I am not looking for any consideration for additional sales as it's too iffy-it's up to you to see if you can sell services to them.

I am looking at an offer around the 6 x monthly profit range. I will take the best offer by a reputable host who will look after these folks.

Server total cost is $708 monthly. Servers have the SM silver management package, and that’s about the extent of the management needed. We do the occasional tweak or something but SM does most of the work needed on the servers. To date the support need has been very low.

2 x P4 - 2.4 Redhat/Cpanel,
1 x Cel - 2.4 Redhat/Cpanel,
1 x Cel - 2.4 Redhat only,
1x 1.7 Cel Redhat/Cpanel

Transfer of clients will be in the next week if we find a buyer, so you will not have to pay for the servers until August, and that will give you time to set up billing etc. for month’s end. We will transfer clients to your SM account if you have one, or set up a new SM account for you.

Please email if interested. I prefer this to PM’s.

(Mods: unable to post in other hosting related offers and requests and advised by a mod to post here instead. Please move when possible, thanks.)

can you be more specific on how much each client pays and what spec machine they have?

Hi Eurospeed,

1 x P4 - 2.4 Redhat/Cpanel, $159
1 x P4 - 2.4 Redhat/Cpanel $169
1 x Cel - 2.4 Redhat/Cpanel, $162
1 x Cel - 2.4 Window 2003 $99
( I forgot this one in the original post!)
1 x Cel - 2.4 Redhat only, $133
1 x 1.7 Cel Redhat/Cpanel $100 (two clients, $50 each.)

The dollar figures are correct but I'm not in the office right now so I may have mismatched rates to the specific servers, sorry.

Total $822 - server costs of $708 = $114 month profit.

Hi,
I don't know if you'd receive a PM if you can't send one, and you haven't given your email. So, email me please. My temporary email for this sale is salemail@kwikserver.com

Several people have enquired about the sale, thanks to all of you.

Current bid is $550. Sale will continue until July 15 at 9 AM, then I'd like to choose the new host. I'd like to transfer clients to the new host by the weekend.

I'm interested in this sale. Have you talked to ServerMatrix?

Hi TechSolution, thanks for taking an interest. You've asked a good question.

Yes we have already arranged things with accounting at SM. Transfer of servers to an existing account or as a new account is no problem.

Please email me and we can discuss things further, if you wish.

FYI Current bid is $600.
