We have been under DOS attack twice in the last 72 hours.

The first one sustained for about 18-20hours. The second one brought down entired network I believe. Currently the server has been unpluged.

Im interested to know how is everyone deal with DOS attacks?

Your NOC should be handling this for you. If not, you may want to look for a NOC that has the capabilities to block out DoS attacks. Although they cannot be stopped completely, they can be nipped in the bud quickly if the NOC has the right equipment.
