Is anyone else that has a server at Interserver.net having trouble. It seems they are having yet another outage.

Yeah, I am in the same boat as you my friend. I barely survived the last outage. Many of my accounts were ready to jump ship, so I had to do plenty of damage control. I am expecting this to be the last straw for some of my accounts. I have to keep my fingers crossed that it doe not get too bloody.

All seems to be back up now, but not without troubles. I had a client that was working on getting an ad proof sent for approval to their client, but was not able to due to the mail server being down. The hounds have been released.

I dont think it was Interserver this time. The VDI site was down also and all of the dedicated servers from Interserver are located in VDI.

Yep, I am aware of that, but it all rolls down hill. My clients aren't interested in which company's network is to blame. In the end they are all looking to me for answers and results. I am starting to think that Interserver may not be suitable for mission-critical sites that need guaranteed uptime.

I doubt you have clients that want to pay what it would cost to guarantee 100% up time.

Nothing against you or your clients. I'm just saying that it is a very expensive guarantee to uphold.

I am a realist and am not expecting 100% uptime, but I need to have assurance that when a network goes down that there are steps taken to keep the site up. It seems that Interserver relies solely on the VDI network and once that takes a hit, then all of the servers that are on that network suffer downtime.
