I do web design and decided to offer hosting for clients. One of my clients is hosted at godaddy.com before I get into a world of hurt financially how to I transfer their domain to my server. I got an ev1 server and a cpanel cp.

Setup nameservers for your server using 2 IP addresses you can obtain from your ev1 account.

Once you have your IP's - add them to the server in the WHM
Then setup the nameservers in the WHM in the server setup area.

After that - you'll have to register nameservers with your domain registrar for the domain you use as the hostname on that server. (you'll need 2 nameservers :P )

Once those are in place - (takes 72 hours due to propagation) you then go to your clients go daddy account and point it to your nameservers. This will again take another 72 hours to propagate his domain.

This is the short-hand, not very thurough instructions. But should get you going well enough.
