Just a wryful observation: It'll take 2 months to get the server backed up with your bandwidth allowance.

And yes, I realize that bandwidth is expensive and not to be given freely unless Cogent comes into the picture.

Not necessarily. I compress the tar file before I send it out across the wires (or fibres :)). And my disks are not completely full.
