My family and I are thinking about buying a set of used speakers. These are 250 watt speakers and are made by AST. Does AST have a web site. Has anyone ever heard of them?

Never heard of them, but as a consumer advocate, beware of the speaker scam.

There are a few brands of imported speakers that are being sold for way more than they're worth using deceptive marketing. I forget what the brands are, but there are a lot of people who were ripped off and are selling their speakers on ebay to try to get some of their money back.

Some people are selling them thinking that they actually got a great deal on them, and are selling them for how much they were told that they were worth.

Others found out later that they were scammed and are just trying to get their money back by scamming someone else.
