I signed a contract for ***** to build a web site for me back in
March of 2000. The contract says they would complete site in 6 weeks
and it is now Dec. 19 and do not have a complete site. I paid those
bastards $2700 dollors. I asked for my money back in early November
then they promised me a completed site in 4 days. I could go on and
on. Let me know if I can help.
Gee, $2700 is stolen! I am mad

I have a similar case where I paid a programmer $2000 to do me some programming. He breached the contract. I guess I will have to bring him out to a small claim court. Damn these people. I wonder if it is too late since the project was supposed to be done back in Dec. 1998. I hope time doesn't matter.
One more thing: I'm not referring to *****.
My case has nothing to do with *****.

Asia,
As one that likes to litigate, in most places in the US of A, it's one year if intentional, and two years if unintentional. And then there are a lot of areas that limit it to one year anyway (like automotive accidents).
Josephp,
Ordering web design in March 2000 and waiting until December 2001 to get upset seems kind of pointless to me, IMHO.
Good luck to everyone.

bitserve,
Mine is like almost 2 years.
He is in Southern California, and I'm in Northern California.
Do you think the court still accpt this case since it has been 2 years?

I would go ahead and try it. If you still have evidence against him I'm sure they would accept the case. I mean look at that one Kennedy guy (I forget his name) who just got sentenced to jail last year for a murder he commited 30 years ago. Okay maybe that wasn't a fair comparison...
stay away from *****, all they do is steal.
