I ordered a few .co.uk domains from speednames.com. After logging in to manage them I saw no place to change nameservers. I emailed them about it and they said that if I wanted to point the nameservers to my own, I would have to pay them $69. I would be screaming but when my Jaw fell to the floor it rolled under the desk and left me speechless.

Now thats nuts... Move the domain to opensrs i think they support co.uk i just had to fill out a ton of stuff last week to do it with them.

I recently became an opensrs reseller and was planning on doing that but the opensrs panel says they cannot transfer .uk domains :(

What a pathetic way to make money. To hell with them.

Talk about hidden fees! :angry:

If I were you I'd transfer any domain names registered with them to another registrar as soon as possible.

Looking at their prices I always wondered who'd go along with Speednames... :rolleyes:

Not sure what you mean. The price I paid for the domains themselves were fair.

.com/.info/.biz $69/2 yrs
.net/.org $49/2 yrs
.nu $114/1 yr

That's pretty hefty, if you compare to other registrars. Not to mention the international domains...
