BrianF 12-19-2001, 10:01 PM Not if you outsource your support. The majority of time spent running the company is support. If you can pay someone to do that for you then you've just free'd up a lot of time. Brian universal2001 12-19-2001, 10:59 PM 1) Your infrastructure... 2) Your support system. (let bobcares.com handle that) ... ..... BrianF 12-19-2001, 11:05 PM Right on! Synergy 12-19-2001, 11:16 PM Sometimes providing your own support is alot better both business wise and marketing gimmicks. Most people perfer to speak to people via a telephone or email from a person who works at your company. Why? If a company is serious about the business, it should pay for their own support hours and outsource the support for off office hours. This gives the customer 2 ideas. 1) The company cares about them and hires people to interact with them and not someone who ditched out a chunk of cash and hoping for automated money by outsourcing. 2) After office hours, the outsource idea gives the customer a general believe that the company itself can not provide 24/7 support and transfers them to a temporary outsourcing center. This is a major plus compared to waiting for hold times and then noticed that "Our office hours are blah to blah, please call back tommorow." |
