Anyone got any other great software they might recommend in terms of software that you can use on your local win system

Not just any software...software like WhatsUp Gold where you can set notifications to call a telephone

I would love to use Whatsup Gold, it calls the phone number and everything, but when testing, it

1. begins the wav even before you pick up the phone
2. doesnt hang up :(

i found Server Monitor, but unless you register that, you cant test it out, it has a voice feature as well

thanks, downloading now, doesnt look like it has the telephone feature thats the main thing i need, (seems thats the only thing that wakes me, my cellphone is just tooo quite when it gets a page)

If you havn't already, I'd try IP Sentry (http://www.ipsentry.net). It'll monitor any type of TCP/IP connection and it has several ways of notification (not sure about the telephone feature) and it's atleast worth looking into.

just downloaded, it comes close but only works for pagers :(

I guess I will have to figure out a way to get Whatsup Gold to work. Alchemy Eye looks pretty simple to use, but u cant do anything in trial mode (thats that Service Monitor i was talking about)

I'd like an app that would call my cell phone but I can do a pager too. I don't care.

I can run it under any Mac OS. :) I've had an eye out, but haven't found what I need... thought I'd ask. :)
