Ok i hope i get this out right so maybe some one has an idea what the HELL is going on here..

Ok i can get here of course and every where else. But if i try and go to our own site vortechhosting.com or try and check mail no go will not do it. Can't telnet to the SMTP server nothing there. Can't get mail in OutLook or eudora nothing. No web site in IE or NS.

Funny thing is every thing on the server is fine every one else can get to it fine. Now i can use my dailup and it works but not on RoadRunner.

Here is what i have tryed so far any other ideas.
Rebooted first.
Rebooted Cable modem
Flushed Windows DNS ( Just to be sure )
Then in winxp it lets you go back in time so i did that still no good.

Kind of running out of ideas.

Never seen this before like its blocked me from one site only. Just happens to be my site. Next it does not work with the IP ether and in IE or NS. But Term. Server works fine..

I am so lost and have no idea..

Dell Laptop Latitude 815
Windows XP with SP1

P.S. No firewall or AV on.

It's the techlins... (gremlins of the tech world). They're paying x-mas visits.

They need to get the hell out my laptop then.. Maybe the long ride to VA where it is cold will get rid of them in a day or so.. LOL

They must like here in FL where it's warm.. hehe

bobcares,

Did that was al fine. Plus some one else on Road Runner here could get to it fine. Funny thing is my wifes computer hooked to the same cable modem and hub worked fine but mine did not. But now on my computer that did not work i could use my dail up and it would then work. Thats what made it so damn odd.

Kiwi: Know not really its TW RoadRunner.. ;)

Wow...
That truly is a funny problem unless you are using Windows where all this happens naturally. All you have to do --- The holy 3 finger salute... (ctrl+alt+del)....
After the reboot things would be OK for some time. Then repeat the above procedure.... :)

Just kidding...

Have a great day

Actually, we had an issue about 1 week ago where all of a sudden, Comcast customers could not reach their own sites. DIdn't make any sense at all. Turned out Comcast had "accidentally" blocked a few IP ranges. Of course, 1st and 2nd level tech support have never heard of "IP Ranges", so calling Comcast did not good until someone was finally able to get through to a higher level of support.

Its happened to me once before, its Road Runners fault, if you go to their network status page while it happening, it usually reports the problem. After about 3 hours, it worked again ;)
