Hi, I am having a server with theplanet and wishes to use their nameserver (ns1.theplanet.com & ns2.theplanet.com) for my website.

Now i am not sure about the settings in whm. Below are my settings (in whm > edit setup) but it doesn't work (can't access website)

Master Nameserver: x.x.x.x (ns1.theplanet.com's ip address)
Primary Nameserver: ns1.theplanet.com
Secondary Nameserver: ns2.theplanet.com

and in WHM > modify resolver settings:
Primary Resolver: x.x.x.x (ns1.theplanet.com's ip address)
Secondary Resolver x.x.x.x (ns2.theplanet.com's ip address)


can anyone shed some light on this? thank you.

You should contact ThePlanet about your problem. They should give you directions on how to setup your DNS. If you just recently changed it, it actually likes 24-72 hours for it to take effect.

You have to submit any new DNS zone to ThePlanet. There should be a way to do this in your Orbit support center.
