Can anyone recommend a very basic, free control panel for Windows? I'm looking for something similar to webmin. I would like to automate the process of adding users to the server, creating webspace for them (in a subdirectory, not a separate domain) and creating an ftp account to upload to their webspace only. If possible, I would also like to automatically create a mySQL database for each user that uses the same username/password as their ftp account. Thank in advance for any help or advice.

BTW, this is a Windows 2000 server.

Thanks. zpanel looks nice, but It looks like it's geared more torwards givein the end users a control panel. I'm looking for more of an admin control panel to automate the setup of accounts. Can zpanel do this?

Zpanel won't really do that, it is more an end user setup. I don't know if IIS Admin will do what you're needing, but it may be close. nthelp.org

From what i've heard automated accounts can be done using ZPanel. Just ask in there forums.

I'm sorry I appear to have made no sense on my last post. Zpanel can setup user accounts in the control panel portion but it can not create system accounts and home dir's for the users. You still need to set those up on the server. A good software for IIS administration is IIS Admin which you can find at nthelp.org
Pretty good system, and fast.

nxpanel.net or bankoi can do these and are free. nxpanel is easy to install, but I have not manage to get bankoi installation up

Both of the packages IIS admin, and Zpanel are free, and easy to setup, although I had to update Vbscripting on my server side in order to fix a problem I was having on IIS Admin. their forum support is good, but can take a few days to get a response, and there's not a ton of docs.

nthelp.org seems to be down. I'll try again later. IIS Admin sounds promising and I'm looking forward to checking it out. Thanks!

Don't know about bankoi but have discussed that nxpanel is not a better tool to use in some other thread at WHT.
I again say, as I always in these forums, try investing in a better control panel if you want to provide hosting services in an efficient and managable way rather than looking for free tiny control panel like tools that can make your life even worse than before.
