I will have to say after 2 years, 5 datacenters being used and 5 techs Affordable Colo, really showed up when needed.

As with any industry when things are good no one cares, but when a bump in the road comes up, some step up, some well arent around too much.

AC really showed up tonight. A Issue that was resolved within minutes thanks to the techs on staff and quality.

There tech stepped up, and we got the issue resolved right away, as I was on the phone with a client, they even said, what ever you got going over there is really good.

My props to AC and my techs who help as well, thanks much appreciated.

Its not how you react when things are good, but how you react when there is a bump in the road.

You need hosting go to Affordable COlo and Dtwebworks

That's excellent! I wish more people would post their positive experiences...myself included. I think when things go right we tend to take them for granted.

Although there are spam attacks that breed such cinicism; it is disheatning when it happens, all too often.

On that note . . . . .

What are you talkin' about Joe??
You haven't been with them long enough to have that high of opion of them. Mind placing the url of what you're so happy about??

:D

It's good to hear someone speak good of something. :agree:

Im not really sure why I am getting **** about something good in regards to support from a company.

I mean Affordable Colo helped with a issue, we had problems with on a server.

I shouldnt have to provide a thesis on the issue.

Can anyone on this board just read something and say great, something actually good happens in this industry.

In regards to the details on how long ive been with them its over 6 months now.

Does that really matter

I'm always suspicious when someone, with 1000s of posts, comes in here and brags about how good a provider is. ;)

--TIna That's what I'm talkin' about!

I could understand if it were someone that just registered this month or something.
We're kinda used to newbies suggesting how great someone is.

But JBIZ718 is older than I care to mention. And has more posts than anyone other than the truely addicted.

Maybe you guys have some type of chemical problem or something, but I dont see anything suspicious about a company helping someone out

Fact - kernal problem
Fact - AffordableCOlo and my tech resolved it

Fact - I appreciate there work

You know you people are sick, you get on people when they say bad things, you give people **** when they same something good

Sbrad said it perfectly - Once and a while its ok to thank someone for doing good work.

There is nothing suspicious about this, its what you people make iit out to be which makes me suspicious about both of you

I sincerely hope you realize that we are just joking - that we are actually saying that someone like you is EXACTLY the kind of post that SHOULD be believed...because you have so many posts.

Chemical imbalance.. . . .Once and a while its ok to thank someone for doing good work. . . . It isn't done enough.. . . . There is nothing suspicious about this, its what you people make iit out to be which makes me suspicious about both of you. . .hmmm. . . .I kinda like the suspicious role. Has a rather mysterious tone to it. :)

Is it just me or does the Segway logo look a lot like the Interland logo?

Fact - kernal problem

=============

Fact - kernal is spelled kernel
Fact - AffordableCOlo is spelled Affordable Colo
Fact - there is spelled their
Fact - You can't spell
Fact - That is blatent spam!

Unknown facts.. "If you even have a tech and if you did
why would you even need affordable Colo to fix your kernel
problem" Any tech would know kernels and kernel problems
like the curve of their members."

Unknown fact.. "Did Affordable Colo setup this box, and if so,
why are they so great if they compiled a bad kernel? Or your tech for that matter"

Unknown fact.. "Is this a dedicated/supported box" Where wouldnt it would be their job to fix the problem?"

Fact - We dont care, we just like to start ****.

Does mike look like a troll for anyone else? YUCK trolls are ugly...

FACT: WHo gives a crap if someone misspelled kernel or put a few capital letters in our name.
FACT: ONLY a complete idiot would think this is spam, jbiz owns a medium sized hosting company has been on here for years.
FACT: Jbiz has over 1000+ posts and everyone on here knows him
FACT: YOu have been on here a short time and have very few posts..
FACT: You should know that you cant fix a kernel problem without access to the server, if theres a kernel problem, that means 99% of the time your remote access services wont be accessible, whioch mean you would need a on site tech to help you fix it.
FACT: Jbiz's tech is also well known on here and is very knowledgable about freebsd, and with the help of our tech fixed the kernel problem very fast.
FACT: This server did not have a kernel problem from day one, and just had a problem recently, it has been resolved now.
FACT: THis is a unmanaged box.
FACT: Its really none of your business in regrds to your last 3 questions.
FACT: If you dont care then why waste peoples time by posting crap!

Unknown FACT: If you were just kidding, then i apol. for being so rough with you, if you are indeed kidding you need to learn how to joke, because you just sound like an ASS**** (censored by me) in this post.

Actually, I see some real possibilities for it to be used by people who might otherwise have to use a wheelchair. This could be something that insurance companies might cover, as the cost of a Segway isn't much more than a good wheelchair.

You sit down with a wheel chair, you have to stand up with this. My mother has bad legs and it hurts her as much to stand as to walk

Alot of people have difficulty walking - but can stand without much trouble. The view from a standing position is much more "humanizing" than from a wheelchair.

Next time you're in a shopping mall - imagine seeing everything from a sitting position. You'd be surprised how much becomes unreachable, unviewable and just plain annoying...especially in a crowded store.

Imagine shopping with a friend, in a wheelchair...the instance your friend goes to the other side of a clothing rack, you can't see your friend. Imagine being in a wheelchair in a crowded mall - where people tend to stop and turn around, without looking down. Being in a standing position definitely makes life easier.

OK, point taken :)

But in their commercial it looked like that the lazy rich people were the main target audience :)

Actually, and I'm speculating here, that was the best way to get the word out. Targetting handicapped people, for a new and exciting invention, wouldn't have gotten the wide spread press coverage that it did. :)

If I remember correctly, the guy that invented the Segway also invented a wheelchair that could climb stairs.
