First of all, thanks for taking the time to read through this post.

We represent former operators of a highly successful webhosting firm. We have a strong name, 25,000+ customers and 8M in annualized revenues. Our operating margins were among the best in the industry for anyone of significant size and scale.

We are strongly considering a market opportunity in the hosting automation/OEM arena. We see a significant gap in this area with little competition and limited value proposition.

We believe we have conducted significant research on the various options for webhosting automation. They currently include:

1. Ensim or Sphera on a dedicated server(s)
2. Alabanza
3. CPanel through a qualified reseller
4. Ubersmith
5. Regular "common" reseller program (*****, CommuniTech, etc.)

All of the 5 have their benefits and downfalls. Perhaps we have not identified all 5 options. We view Alabanza as the strongest in the market in terms of value/features/ease of use. As far as we can tell, they are the only solution if you require your system administration to be outsourced.

We would be extremely interested in any feedback from anyone on these options. Specifically, what do these options have in strength, and what do they lack?

We think we know the answers to these questions, but we would welcome any feedback you might have on this topic.
